Extremely courteous and responsive staff. Nice room and amenities.Location close to Greenbelt within central financial district hence convenient. Club facilities excellent for business meetings and working online away from the room.
I had never stayed at the InteCon Manila before, but it was much nicer than the Makati Mandarin hotel and for me in a better location. Although the room was a bit smaller, it was very comfortable and the furnishings in the room looked new. The bedding was very comfortable.
The price was high, but I know I was there during a conference or trade show which was in town and there were few vacancies. Perhaps if I plan my trip better in the future, I can get a better rate at the InterCon.
The best Buffet in Manila is in The Jeepney Restaurant of the hotel
The bed and the breakfast was good
The bedroom, bed apart, was tired and needing a re-fit. The fixtures & fittings are old and tatty and not suitable for a 5 star hotel charging these rates. The charging of $20 for internet access is outrageous when it is free in most hotels especially budget types
I stay with my wife 4 night. all staff friendly from the security dog to the limousine driver. I like staff smile. Whene you choose the intercontinental Manila you will feel you are in your second home.
1. The fact that when we arrived (3 pm) we couldn't check-in because our room wasn't yet available. Apparently someting had been going on in the room the night before which "stained the walls" and broke the bed, so instead we were given a really poor room across the dentistry at level 3. Secondly, the room we were given was stinking of some sort of cleaning liquid - maybe to hide it has been used as a smoking room before? Thirdly, the beds in the rooms were truly uncomfortable. I travel a lot as part of my work, and this very soft and gelly like bed made it very difficult to fall a sleep. Fourthly, the TV was old and picture bad. And last but not least, the changing room facilities to the pool was horrific, I'm sorry to say.
Friendly staff & good location.
Great initiatives and service from your people on 14 floor. (1) Helps to arrange for a birthday cake with just 3 hour's notice. (2) Arrange promptly room change from Club to Premier Lounge. (3) Late checkout at 3pm was good evidence of customer-oriented service.
Clearance of crockery and dishes after room service was not automatic. They were left over-nght. Solution - do not wait to be called to clear.
I asked for pool view and get city view, receptionist said fully boooked despite booking very early
Lights in the corridors are very dark
the reception staff was very slow need a lot of training to reach the international standards. the price was very expensive compared to the country and the other hotels. the vat and taxes are too much
confort and quietness of the hotel
It was pleasing, welcoming and i was pleased that they did upgrade my room level when i faced a problem in my room. Thanks to the lady (i dont keep here name) she took inatiative and slved my problem.
Yes, in standered rooms toilets, there is a toilet cup but no washing cup which i found not clean or follow the international standards for human clean.
The hotell was very nice and the staff proffesional and very polite. I will most likely come back during my next visit to Manila
I love the friendliness and courteousness of the staff and also the centralized location.
Poor service, Carpet smells like hell. Very Old Furniture, Staff does not help well. Very old Bathroom wth cracked toilet ... I am glad I have stayed a one night only.. They charge you for internet which is rip off
The location is ideal for dining and shopping. Easy access to the airport.
An old hotel but well maintained. The bathrooms are very small but well equipped. The Jeepney restaurant is not particulaly inviting in appearance. The standards in the Prince Albert restaurant need improving. Overall the staff are friendly and attentive. The room internet coonection is very slow. The whole internet system is not user friendly.
