    i like the club rooms where you can enjoy lots of benefits such as free drinks and food during evenings but among all the food quality is perfect .. there chef is definitely intercontinental standard

    i dont like the poor transportation from and to the airport .. the hotel is depending on a car rent company (eurocar) which they charge almost 20 times .. and i really mean 20 times .. a taxi is 140 to 160 peso and u can even tip him if you like to make it 200 or 250 maximum that he will be extremely happy but the hotel transportation is 2,800 and u should tip at least 200 on that !

    The location is the best part of this hotel, nothing Elsa to be expected.

    Well, I book non smoking room, I did not get it until I went to the reception and complained. When I call from the room requesting non smoking and double room I got reply that the hotel is fully booked, but I could not stay in that room- too smoky- then I found out that there are lots of vacancies, then they gave me the room I booked.

    Best location for shopping and for city appointment. I have big group of local Manila pupils come to see me for a dinner, it the very easy for everyone to make appointment at one of many restaurants around the hotel. There are hundreds of shop around in 4-5 buildings around hotels.. just across the street :-)

    The whole hotel is pretty old and the room has a strong smell of mould. Not much facilities can use. Get through a long process of asking password and they put me through lots of department before my notebook can connect to internet. The wifi is so weak that can only load push mails in the hotel but no internet access. The Bath tub is old and the water dispenser was broken.

    My family and I stayed at the Manila Peninsula for four days when we arrived here and billeted at the Intercon for four days before departing for us. Intercon has a remarkable staff... Very courteous and friendly ...so unlike Penn'S. I love the friendly,courteous atmosphere!!!

    First, they didn't offer me a resident rate, being Filipino. Second, they didn't offer me great deals as first timers ( Manila Pen did awesome job on that one!). I truly hate that we have to pay extra to get internet access. Manila Pen gave us a gorgeous, extra bed at no cost!!! Food, however is below par especially at the Escolta breakfast buffet. I would not invite my guests to have breakfast with me here as I did at the Pen (I invited friends over for breakfast at the Manila Peninsula and I could say that I would love to keep inviting friends over and over again). There was not enough pillows and towels at all!!! If I declared a certain number of occupants, I expect enough supply!!! And talk about credibility...I asked the front desk to provide us with an extra bed/cot and they told me it would be free of charge. The next second, they would be charging me P4500 for that! No free Wifi??? That is so ridiculous!!! Even Starbucks has a free one. I am paying for my billet here and no free internet access?? I can't believe this!

    - When I checked in, room was only available at 3.30pm vs 1400 their published time. - Upon check in, I was given a card which I cannot get into room - My room access card failed again 24hours later - Issued 2 more cards 10mins which failed again - Forgot to pick me from airport 1 year ago.

    The room standard for an InterConti hotel was very poor! I stayed in cheaper 3 star hotels in Manila with rooms way better than in the InterConti
